Sign up for Albertsons’ Community Partners program using Preferred Savings Cards.
All purchases at Albertsons will help fund NKSC field development.

If you have a Preferred Savings Card, follow these simple instructions:

1. Print out this page.
2. The next time you shop at Albertsons' present your Preferred Savings Card and the box below and ask them to add us as a partner.
3. The Community Partners account is now linked to your Preferred Savings Card.
4. Continue shopping as you normally do, presenting your Preferred Savings Card to the cashier.

You may also enroll online: (only works if you gave your phone number when enrolling in the Preferred Savings Program):

1. Go to http://www.albertsons.com/
2. Enter Zip Code where requested, enter,
3. Go to bottom of page,  
4. Click on "In the Commumity"
5. click on red logo "Community Partners" (on left of screen) --- Will bring up another window,
6. click on "shoppers login or register..."
7. Enter your Card # and Phone # where indicated,
8. Click on :"My Account" at right,
9. Click on "Add a Partner" and enter the NKSC Registration # 4900 101 2319
10. Hit enter and you're Done. 

To enroll in the Preferred Savings Card program:

1. Call Albertson’s Customer Service Center, open 24/7/365, 877-932-7948.
2. Tell them you'd like to join the Preferred Savings Card program and register an Albertsons Community Partner?
3. give Albertsons Your: Name, Address, eMail, Phone.
4. give Albertsons the registration number for NKSC (skip this step and we get zero) # 4900 101 2319
5. When you next go to Albertsons, their cashier will ask, “Do you have a Preferred Savings Card or Phone Number?” Give either one.
6. In 7-10 days Albertsons will also send you 1 wallet-size member card and 2 key-chain-size Program Cards that you can present to a cashier.
7. Shop as you normally do.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do they do this? Do they raise prices to afford this? Albertsons does this already with many organizations including schools, churches and groups like ours. They want our business. Because we act as a group, their volume rises, advertising costs fall and they can share their savings with us without raising prices. Prices are normal, any coupons for further discount are honored, too.

Is this limited to just your family, to NKSC or to just Kitsap? No. The partners use the Internet to track all purchases by registered club supporters, everywhere. That means your family plus aunts, uncles, grandparents, friends, neighbors, and any associate, anywhere can help get us to $20/family/mo and $10/player/mo, and more.

How much do you have to purchase for them give to $20/for your family/mo? Assume 5¢ to 10¢ of every dollar spent with a club sponsor company can contribute to buying fields. So, $200 - $400/mo purchasing through program partners can create $20 of field funding.

Where specifically can you shop, and what products qualify? Immediately, all Albertsons stores and every product sold through any Albertsons will support NKSC field acquisition. Shortly, the SupportYourSport program will include both online shopping and some retail adding hundreds more suppliers. The third program being considered will be primarily local retail oriented covering other major retail distributors. Between the three, we hope it will be easy for our partners to pay for new soccer fields fast.

If your family doesn’t ever shop at Albertsons and/or can’t buy $200 - $400 monthly from program partners, is that OK? This is a no guilt program. If it offers value for your family, use it. If it doesn’t work for your family, don’t use it. But please consider two ways that may work for you and the club if the program can’t work for your family: consider can you enroll others in the program who do shop at Albertsons and who would be happy to become supporters of NKSC (Grandma? Uncle? Neighbor? Boss?). Remember, it costs nothing extra.

You are already in the Albertsons Preferred Savings Program, is that a problem? No. You can choose add NKSC to the organizations that benefit from your Albertsons Preferred Saving program dollars. Just tell Albertsons how you want to split your contributions.

Do I get a tax deduction for this? I’m not qualified to offer tax advice, ask your accountant. My expectation is that Albertsons is the one giving cash to NKSC. They get all of the tax benefit, not you. But we welcome parents seeking a $1k  - $5k of tax deduction to call because we are developing programs to provide them that you should know about. Can you just send cash instead of participate? Yes, address your check to NKSC and mail it to the club, Attn Treasurer.

Is the field acquisition program new? The club has been moving in this direction in earnest for a few years. The funding strategy and initiative is new. The club has an established seed fund for field acquisition and is discussing with both private and public sector land developers about its options.
